Instead they have sent the money to the closed bank account and now expect me to contact the bank to get it back or wait until it otherwise materialises. They did not ask about probate and if they had I could have provided a copy of the grant showing me as the legal beneficiary of the money. Their insurance product may be good but their customer care at difficult times is horrendous.
